CONSTRUCTION
The Bewbiful Bralette is a knit bralette halter with a simple tie back. Elastic may be added to the band and straps to help support the breasts. Crochet edging and mattress stitch seaming create the structure and polished finish.
A FEW NOTES ON GAUGE AND SIZING
Every knitter has a different tension. It’s more important that you meet gauge than stress over the recommended size needles or the recommended yarn. Always gauge swatch!!!
Gauge (blocked): 27 sts x 33 rows worked flat in stockinette in 4” x 4” .
This is a made-to-your-measurements pattern. You will need to take some measurements and maybe do a little (basic) math to determine size and cast -ons.
A Bralette Sizing Guide and sizing tutorial videos are provided in the pattern to help you get the best fit possible for your cups and band. Keep in mind that the cups in this pattern are intended to provide minimal to moderate coverage. If you are looking for full coverage cups, you may not get the fit you desire with this pattern.
MATERIALS NEEDED
Needles- US 4 (3.5 mm) needles or size needed to obtain gauge
Crochet hook - US E (3.5 mm) or use same size as needles
Sewing needle
Scissors
Tape measure/Ruler
Yarn needle
5 Safety pins or stitch markers for help in seaming placement
Round cord elastic 5 yd package (Optional)

Any sport or fingering yarn with which you can match gauge
Yardage will depend on the Base Cup Width size (explained in the pattern) you choose for your breasts. A detailed sizing and yardage chart is provided in the pattern but here are bralette yardage estimates based ROUGHLY on traditional cup sizing. All yardages are estimates and based on using LionBrand Truboo (DK).
